Shunt Resistors from Resi
Current measuring resistors, or shunts for short, are used to measure the current in a circuit. By measuring the voltage drop that occurs when the current flows through the known resistor, the current can be calculated using Ohm's law (I = U / R).
In general, the resistance of the current measuring resistor is very small, between 1m Ω and 1 Ω, with a narrow tolerance and low TCR, as the ohmic losses should be minimised.

Série HSG73P od společnosti KOA nabízí poprvé SMD rezistor, který kombinuje odolnost vůči pulzům a vysokoteplotní vlastnosti. Společnost Nikkohm představila sérii RPU800 (800 W) určenou pro měniče, která poskytuje vysoce spolehlivé výkonové rezistory s minimálním nárůstem teploty. K dispozici jsou také varianty s výkonem 1000 W a 2000 W. Tyto speciální rezistory využívají vlastní tlustovrstvou a tenkovrstvou technologii na substrátu z oxidu hlinitého, přičemž poskytují izolaci až 10 kV při nízké indukčnosti.
