Fast and innovative terminal block for PCB assembly

Degson presents a PCB terminal block for the direct connection of stripped stranded wires, rigid wires and stranded wires with ferrules. The terminal block for PCB assembly of the 3 different series DGPS2.5 is characterised by tool-free, but above all time-saving assembly. Operation is intuitive and the operator receives an acoustic and visual signal as soon as the cable is correctly seated in the connector and locked.

Degson calls this technology Push-Snap-Technology.

On delivery, the release spring is pre-tensioned and can be activated easily, even with a braid wire. The mechanism locks and contacts the cable with the arrester to the PCB at an angle of 45° - ensuring a secure electrical and mechanical connection.

The orange locking button pops out and a clicking sound is heard - the cable is in place.

Of course, this locking mechanism can be released again, returning it to its original state and making it ready for a new connection.

For quality assurance, each pole can be measured using a test probe.

The PCB terminals are specified with 20A / 400V (III/2). The cable cross-section spans a range of AWG 20 ~ 12 or 0.5 ~ 2.5 mm². The number of poles ranges from 2 to 12. The pitch is 5 mm - the DGPS2.5FV has a double pitch of 5 x 6.55 mm.

There are currently 3 different versions, DGPS2.5R, DGPS2.5FR and DGPS2.5FV. The differences lie in the position of the cable entries and the test probes. The versions are shown in the gallery. The pluggable 2EDGKPS series is also being developed. It is currently available in 5.08 mm pitch, as a 4-pole version: 2EDGKPS-5.08-04P-00Z(H)
