Universal connectors with a 3 mm pitch

Thanks to its space-saving design with a locking mechanism, the WF3001 series from WCON is particularly well-suited for installation in industrial PCs (IPCs), control systems, single-board computers, medical devices, consumer electronics, industrial applications, and the automotive sector.

This universal connector series includes wire-to-board, wire-to-wire, and board-to-board variants, available in single-row or dual-row configurations and as THT or SMD versions. The pitch is 3.0 mm in all cases. The maximum number of pins is 2x12.

The WCON connectors for the consumer market are made of nylon or LCP and have an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C. Meanwhile, the connectors for the automotive sector are made of PA9T+GT and are therefore approved for temperatures up to +105 °C. Furthermore, the wire-to-wire/wire-to-board automotive connectors feature a retainer that provides additional securing of the plug contacts.

The maximum current per connection is 5.0 A for all versions.

The brass crimp contacts of the WF3001 series are designed for AWG #20 to #24 and are available with tin plating or a gold plating of up to 30 µin in the contact area.
